Sliding windows use both Cam-Locks and tilt latches to keep windows anchored and secure. It is an easy to operate locking system and also provides added security.

Our standard charcoal fibreglass mesh insect screens keep insects outside while letting in natural light. The frames are available in colours to match the window colour you choose. Our windows are also available with a half screen which allows for the operating section of the window to have a screen and leaves the non-operating view clear. JELD-WEN® offers insulating glass options that respond to various environmental conditions, regardless of your home’s location or architecture. Our insulating glass options are available as a Dual-Pane (two glass panels separated by a sealed airspace). Ask an associate about the availability of Dual-Pane in the window style of your choice.
Low-E (low-emissivity) glass helps keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Low-E repels the UV rays that cause excess heat during warmer months, keeping your home comfortable. When it gets cold out, Low-E absorbs UV rays, keeping your home nice and warm even during the chilliest months of the year. The more insulation your windows have, the more comfortable your room temperature will be, year-round. Below you will find the definitions for JELD-WEN's various Low-E Glass technologies that significantly impact glass performance by enhancing energy efficiency, durability, and comfort. These technologies work together to optimize insulation, manage solar heat gain, reduce energy costs, and protect against weathering and UV damage. SunFlow™ Low-E glass helps harness the sun’s energy to warm your indoor spaces. Install SunFlow™ Low-E glass on east-facing windows if you want heat gain in the morning. It features one layer of Low-E silver and offers the highest Energy Rating, SHG and visibility.
SunStable™ Low-E glass delivers year-round comfort, reflecting an intermediate heat level into your home. This product’s patented two layers of Low-E silver coating provide clarity and high performance with solar control and reduce window heat gain. Offers moderate SHG, U-Factor, UV protection and visibility—a balanced solution for most climates.
SunResist™ Low-E glass provides the ultimate protection from sun exposure. Consisting of three layers of Low-E silver to provide the lowest U-Factor and highest UV protection. Its patented coating offers an ideal balance of solar control and high visibility. Helps in blocking out the sun’s damaging rays, Low-E glass sets a new standard in energy performance for windows. Provides high levels of year-round comfort and energy savings.
Grilles Between Glass (GBG) is a non-removable feature built within the glass, making it an attractive, low-maintenance option. They create the luxurious appearance of traditional grilles while offering easy cleaning for both interior and exterior glass surfaces. Flat grilles are available through the JWC8500 collection with the 5/8” and 1” offered in a two-tone option

Simulated Divided Lites (SDL) are installed directly on the exterior and interior surfaces of the glass (non-removable), boosting your window’s curb appeal potential while re-creating the traditional appearance of a true divided lite. Includes an optional shadow bar to complete the authentic look.
Simulated Divided Lites (SDL) can be applied to the exterior and interior of window glass (vinyl). Exterior SDLs are made to match the window colour, whereas interior SDLs only come in white.
